Mike's story starts at age 12 — the only kid in his class who couldn't afford the school trip. Instead of letting it define him, he started a paper round. Delivering before sunrise, out in the quiet of nature. It cultivated a work ethic built on purpose, discipline and a deep respect for people and places that has never left him.
A successful amateur golfer turned IT leader, Mike spent 15 years rising through some of the world's largest organisations — earning a place on executive fast-track programmes. Then came burnout. Severe, sudden and total. Bed-bound for six months, faced with a prescription of antidepressants and sleeping tablets, Mike refused to accept that as the only answer.
What followed was a journey back to nature — holistic and homeopathic therapies that reconnected him with Mother Nature, stripped out the toxic stimulants and let the real Mike resurface. His energy returned. His mood lifted. His mindset shifted. And when he couldn't find a single natural drink or supplement to support that new way of life, he stopped looking and started building.
Authentic Brew was born from that moment. Rooted in the same guiding principles Mike has lived by since that very first paper round.

In 2012, Andy took a break from alcohol and experienced something he hadn't expected — profound, measurable improvements in his mind, body, career and life. That turning point set him on a path to help others do the same. He co-founded OneYearNoBeer (OYNB) and co-created Dryy, a willpower-free method that has helped thousands of people reclaim their health, performance and happiness.
His TEDx talk, The Limitless Pill, has inspired countless people to unlock their full potential. His books, The 28-Day Alcohol-Free Challenge and Let's Do This, have reached readers across the globe. He has shared his insights on some of the world's biggest platforms — Rich Roll, Dr Rangan Chatterjee, Mo Gawdat and Chris Evans among them.
When Mike and Andy first spoke on the idea for Authentic Brew, Andy didn't hesitate. It aligned with everything he stood for. He was all in.

Working across Geography, Biology, Psychiatry and Education at Oxford, Joe's projects span hands-on conservation, community-led initiatives, map-making and social-ecological systems. He believes — and his research supports — that nature isn't an extra. It's our foundation. Our community. The ultimate basis for everything we are and do.
